Ever since the boom of vintage video games collecting popped up, we all think about where to go for old games out in the San Fernando Valley area. The answer was either online or Game Dude out in North Hollywood, California, but today I bring more news of vintage gaming prowess. The newly opened Game Realms out in Burbank, California is a vintage video game store. Just like how Game Dude of North Hollywood is, Game Realms sells vintage video games and the newest video games out to date. As you enter this building, you see the registers and a television screen to the right of you playing video game related videos.
As you walk in you will start to see art books for sale, video game T-shirts and games galore. Walking into where the display of games that are for sell, you will see televisions out in the back that have video games out to be able to play and enjoy them. The feel of this game store just brings back the feeling that you just walked into a Play N Trade store just to play some games and eventually buy something. There will always be people to help you out in the store as well as to talk to you about video games, which could help you out with a purchase. This place was opened by three owners who wanted to get into the game selling business. With speaking with one of the owners, he spoke about trying to bring an eSports gaming league here to Game Realms, which would be something different since there is nothing like that around the parts of the San Fernando Valley.
This place will always have different selections of video games and will keep on growing. The Grand Opening they had was very great since they invited two famous voice actors to come and celebrate the opening. With the opening of this store, we now have another option to get games that are not GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, etc. so the choice is yours to get games. This store can be found out in Burbank on Victory Blvd. Close by Olive St., it is a white building with the sign that says Game Realms, and has parking out in the back of the store plus some parking in the sides by the neighborhood it is nearby but do be warned that the side parking have signs so please do read them or go to the back parking of the store.
